As Design Director, it was my mission each week to deliver the news in the most engaging and comprehensive way possible so that the community could easily understand and process the information. I worked one on one with clients to design and develop ad campaigns while also creating and overseeing all visual aspects of the paper each week.

A hyper local publication, the award-winning Molokai Dispatch is the heart and soul of Molokai, a Hawaiian island with less than 8,000 residents. Here, community and tradition come first, but it is also ground zero for many hard topics and controversial issues that affect our country as a whole. We strive to provide the highest quality of news to the people of Molokai, while inspiring new ideas and encouraging discussion to empower the community and perpetuate the unique cultural legacy.As the Sales Director, I coordinated all of our accounts and built and maintained strong relationships with new and old clients. I spearheaded all holiday ad sales and was instrumental in reaching profit goals for 2013 as well as setting new profit and revenue records for 2014.
