• Project manage and oversight of a heavily regulated government program called Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organization (MSSP ACO). This program has five employees in various capacities such as Care Management, Education, Auditing, and Administration. • Managed MSSP ACO budget of $2,000,000. Each month review responsibility summary to guarantee all spending was appropriate and plan for the next month’s costs to stay within budget.• Lead all operational and programmatic meetings for the MSSP ACO. Schedule and facilitate necessary meetings for correlated topics such as metric prioritization for Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG).• Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders to work together on ways to increase quality and reduce costs. This includes education to clinicians and clinical staff the metric parameters, lean processes in clinics, ways to reduce employee burnout to increase employee retention. • Heading new care team redesign pilot in two clinics. Collaborated with over 40 staff members to design and implement. With this new program, areas for process improvement were identified, such as removing all clerical responsibilities the provider was performing, which increased provider satisfaction dramatically. • Key retention team member for Saint Alphonsus Health System. This core team creates the strategy on retaining customers and ways we can promote our exclusive contracts, which is critical for the success and sustainability of the company.

• Analyzed activity-based cost accounting to discover if the true costs of care were accurately being accounted for 23 DRGs spanning over 3 service line teams. Presented the findings to various groups across the health system.• Completed 3 different market analysis and aided in capital funding submissions, asking for over $24M• Developed, coordinated, and implemented a strategy for the Health Insurance Exchange (HIX). Assisted in creating a steering team of key stakeholders and managing the project for the steering team. Communicated to staff why the HIX is critical to the health system and ensured as many staff as possible were educated on the basics of the law and where support was to help with further inquiries. Managed the day-to-day operations of the HIX, $400,000 budget and staff. • Researched and interpreted government law, policies, and processes needed to comply with the HIX requirements. Used this knowledge to strategically align the hospital's goal of acquiring new covered lives and the laws from the HIX. With this the hospital personally helped 1,600 families from the community with the HIX, enrolling 331 of those families through the HIX and 428 in Medicaid. Overall, 11,000 new exclusive covered lives were gained through the exchange. • Efficiently and effectively validate and interpret data for Care Continuums for particular procedures-such as total knee replacement - to improve the quality of the care being delivered at the health system by determining the true costs of the full spectrum of care and creating baselines to make it easier to track quality and cost improvements.
