Projects include online and offline commercial campaigns, online display advertisements, social creative, print ads, on-site banners, landing pages, and more for both B2C and B2B marketing. I also help manage the relationship with our creative agency, Arnold Worldwide, where in 2016 we not only launched two major campaigns, but also a new brand platform. As a member of PRSA, I am actively involved in monthly educational luncheons. I also attend free industry webinars as often as I can and receive informational publications to keep updated on the industry as it quickly grows and changes. This year I am co-chair of the Hoosier PRSSA committee. The tourism division of DCI works with client destinations and products. My team had six clients including California, CityPASS, Colombia, Massachusetts, Portland and Sunny Isles Beach. Each day I monitored the media on all six clients which includes using Cision Point, Lexis Nexis and Google News. I actively pitched press trips to journalists from top-tier outlets, as well as research on bloggers and freelance writers. Wrote press releases, media alerts and invitations for various broadcast, print and online outlets. Monthly clip reporting for advertising equivalency with help from Vocus was a large part of my job. Crisis communication, brainstorming efforts and RFP proposals were also apart of my experience at DCI.

Boiler Communication is a student run Public Relations firm at Purdue University. As the assistant director of the club, I helped set up five teams with not-for-profit clients and check all of the work that the associates complete. The few things that Boiler Communication does for clients include writing press releases, coordinating events, and putting together media kits. The board and club execute an event on campus for the Ronald McDonald house in Indianapolis. All of the advertising, public relations and event coordinating for this pop-tab collection were done by the team.

Updated the purdue.edu/prssa website weekly and created the first Purdue PRSSA social network pages. Coordinated Half Day with a Pro through national PRSA and encouraged all to attend. Informed members of internship opportunities regularly. Strived to be an active member in the organization since January 2008.

Worked directly beside the Public Relations director. My main focus was social media and collecting media clips from online sources using Vocus. I created contacts with other organizations that were willing to advertise with Conner Prairie. Helped with the event coordinating team on a handful of events taking place not only at Conner Prairie, but also the downtown area. Also, a huge part of my job was to promote the Indiana Festival that takes place every year at Conner Prairie.
