25 years in the field of social services with experience in direct clinical practice, policy and program development, training in many clinical areas particularly assessment and integrated service planning, grant writing, project oversight and managed care. As Director of Special Projects, she also has the role of Clinical and Program Development consultant to many departments within the Division of Social Services, including the Department of Human Services. She has been actively involved in the creation of an integrated case management data system and training staff on how to use integrated information to plan for children, adults and families involved in multiple systems of care. She has a clinical background working in all disability areas (mental health, mental retardation, homeless, child welfare, juvenile justice and prison systems). In 1988, won Outstanding Citizen of the Year for her work with the homeless, presented by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.Specialties: Policy Development, Clinical practice, Clinical administration, Medicaid Managed Care, Integrated Service Planning, Program Development across multiple systems of care.
