I have eleven (11) years experience as an Administrative Assistant III. Here are a few examples of the work that I have done in the past:In the Skilled Nursing Administration at Kaweah Delta Health Care District (KDHCD): • I created spreadsheets in Excel for each cost center and their sub accounts where I would track how much we would spend for items ordered and subtract the total from the money allocated to that account. At any given time I would be able to tell the Administrator how much she had left to spend in each account. I also used this information to help compile the yearly budget. I would be able to tell if we needed more money allocated to one area and less in another. Over the year I would keep track of the items to put onto the next year’s capitol budget; i.e. new beds for the patients rooms, or new t.v.’s, etc.In the Clinical Education department at KDHCD:• I was the department secretary for thirteen educators. I would receive paperwork from each educator for their classes that they did throughout the year. I would then setup the classes in the PeopleSoft system by booking the rooms and entering each individual class into the system so that the employee’s could call and register for the different classes.In the HR Staffing department at UCLA Medical Center I did the following:• I entered all of the job requisitions onto the website, meeting weekly deadlines. I did this in a timely manner with great accuracy. • I was one of the two assistants who sat at the front desk. We were the first contact for people either applying for a job or there for an interview. When applicants came in I would explain the process and get them setup (if needed) on one of the computers to apply for a job.
