Supporting the Community Service Learning team (CSL) in integrating CSL in university courses, whereby students use their academic skills to collaborate with societal partners on real life issues. In this way, the CSL team aims to strengthen the connections between education, science and society.

Master Graduate internship at the Julius Center, UMC Utrecht, at the department of Epidemiology & Infectious diseases. Here, I worked on a qualitative study about the perceived impact of an HIV cure on quality of life of both people living with HIV and key populations in the Netherlands.

Master Internship at the Leprosy Research Initiative (LRI), technical department of the foundation until No Leprosy Remains (NLR). During this period, I conducted a mixed-methods study, which aimed to explore the meaning of engagement of persons affected by leprosy in research from a multi-stakeholder perspective and to determine strategies for enhancement.

Bachelor Research internship at VU Medical Centre, at the department of Public and Occupational Health. In this period, I conducted a qualitative study into motivations of pregnant overweight and obese women to make lifestyle changes to their physical activity and eating patterns; a study which was part of the European DALI study: Vitamin D & Lifestyle.
