Encouraging my daughter to be her best, empowering the next generation of leaders; with a concentration of working with the next generation of female leaders, encouraging colleagues to use their strengths, and providing words of guidance when opportunities exist - truly drive me. As a 20+ year veteran in the financial services industry, I’ve had many successes and learning opportunities, and am able to use my work and life experience to offer perspective, feedback, and encouragement to others. Music is one of my passions, and I am fortunate to be a vessel of faith by leading music worship at my local church.I firmly believe that the mentor/mentee relationship; no matter how informal, is one of the most important relationships we can have - it helps to shape us. I proudly serve as a mentor for WOMEN Unlimited, Inc. an organization that helps their corporate partners achieve sustainable gender parity, and challenges their participants to transition from manager to leader. Graduating from the WOMEN Unlimited program in 2014 helped me to develop a new skillset, and has provided me with a growing network of female leaders in various industries. I am thrilled to be invited back each year to give back to help the next generation of female leaders. Fostering a culture where successes are celebrated and contributions are valued motivate me. It’s not only good for morale, it’s good for business. Individuals will go the extra mile when they feel encouraged and empowered.
