Laura holds a BA in Education, an MS in Educational Technology and Applied Learning Science with a focus on digital learning service and product design, and is on track to earn an MA in Higher Education Teaching, specializing in online adult learning. With 10 years of experience as an educator —including roles as an EFL instructor for teens and adults, and k-12 literature teacher— she brings a rich teaching background to her current work. Laura is now a Learning Engineer and Product Analyst at Carnegie Mellon University’s Open Learning Initiative, where she designs and develops competitive, research-based, and data-driven learning solutions for a variety of delivery methods, including asynchronous courses, in-person workshops, and remote sessions."
