My love of Food as Medicine has been a guiding force for over a decade with a passion for botanical medicine and practical arts from the desert southwest to the Appalachian region. Efforts in raising, and impacting change in local policy for backyard chickens, grew into a full time miniature dairy goat farmstead with heritage hens, organic gardens and practical arts. With a focus on turning waste into resource and skill share workshops, sharing the surplus extended to food insecure communities. As a board member and President of the NC Herb Association with several certificates in herbalism from blue ridge schools, culinary herbs and foraged foods emerged as a passion.Talents include off-shoots of visual design from conception to function.
