As CityFibre's first Internal Communications Manager, I built and developed the function during a period of exponential growth for the company, as it went from 500 to 2,000+ employees and received over £1bn in equity investments.Some of my proudest achievements include the following:- Built up the IC function from working solo to a 4-person team including Business Partners- Launched key internal channels, including the company's first intranet (Interact) and mailing tool (Poppulo)- Developed a regular cadence of leadership events, working closely with the CEO & COO to deliver strategic updates to the business- Embedded the use of a project management tool (Asana) within the IC team to support automation and transparency- Led the IC stream of the company's crisis response during the Covid-19 pandemic- Managed a cross-functional project responsible for the first articulation of CityFibre's employer brand (The CityFibre Way)
