I am currently in training to become a Volunteer Befriender with the Peri-Natal Mental Heath Team at the East London NHS Foundation Trust. This role will entail me supporting women who are currently pregnant or who have received given birth in their mental health needs. My responsibilities will include providing support to service users in their own homes and having a positive, understanding and non-judgemental attitude towards individuals and their family members.
