Nutraceutical startup venture in conjunction with Ohio State University Commercial and Technology Department and Researchers at Ohio State University College of Medicine, Oncology and College of Pharmacy.Provided oversight for nano emulsified curcumin supplement clinical research demonstrating enhanced absorption of curcumin and improved antiinflammatory benefits with lower GI upset. Worked with Ohio State University Medical Center, Oncology and College of Pharmacy with clinical trials in breast cancer patients to reduce tumors.Initiated negotiations for manufacturing. P&L responsibilities, commercialization and launch, marketing, and strategic planning. Worked with legal and research teams to develop and submit patent applications. Worked with commercialization team on key milestones for marketing, fundraising and clinical trials. Clinical trials in prevention of tumors in early stage breast cancer treatment and prevention. Director of the largest statewide grant program for tobacco treatment, Served as Chair of Medical Advisory Board for design/build of onsite and mobile medical clinic, medical services, Managed grant for over $5 million annually. Grants awarded from Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, AstraZeneca, Franklin County Commissioners, Health and Human Services, United Way, City of Columbus, IMPACT, Ohio Association of Free Clinics. Served as chair of Ohio’s largest statewide Tobacco Cessation 8 county regional coalition and chair of Medical Advisory Committee for The Breathing Association. Served as Chair for National Tobacco Treatment and Prevention Certification program. Designed curriculum, hired speakers, raised funds, managed revenue. Managed Credentialing for physicians, nurses, respirator therapists, pharmacist, chemical dependency counselors. Served as Co-Chair on Fundraising Committees - planned, organized and raised funds for special events over a period of 9 years. Managed Donor database, tracking of donors and donations.• Developed and implemented a fundraising strategy for all grant programs, events and donor programs, corporate gifts and sponsorships.
