As the Senior Director of Content Development at Uncommon Schools, I lead a team of instructional experts who design and deliver high-quality curriculum and professional development for elementary and post-secondary educators across a network of 25 high-performing charter schools. With over 16 years of experience in the education sector, I have a passion for advancing educational equity and excellence for all students, especially those from historically underserved communities. My tenure as Founding Principal of K-4 elementary schools and Director of Curriculum and Instruction has developed my skill set in executive team management and reforming organizations. I am also a Doctor of Education candidate at Rowan University, specializing in governance in higher education. My research interests include educational policy and advocacy, post secondary governance, and academic pedagogy. Additionally, I serve as a Professor at Relay Graduate School of Education, where I mentor and train hundreds of graduate students in elementary education certification and MEd degrees.
