My passion to work in the entertainment industry has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. Countless weekends would be spent sat between the media and film periodicals at the bookstore, flipping through pages and just sitting in awe of the photos of film sets and teasers for upcoming releases. Back then I dreamed of being a part of that world, and now I am working to make those dreams come true. This journey has carried me to my education at Loyola Marymount University, where I have leapt at taking every possible opportunity to take a wide variety of classes in study of the art and theory of communication and media studies. I’ll never forget the feeling of taking my first cinema studies class; of being able to dive in and appreciate films not just on the artistic, but technical level as well. As a student, I have had the pleasure of gaining valuable hands on experience in public relations, diving head first into research for developing campaign strategies. Currently, as a creative assistant, I am continuously reminded of the awe I felt as a kid, now having the chance to read scripts and share feedback with my team through writing coverage. I channel the same dedication I give in my own career advancement to those of our clients, and am most recently proud of having helped secure representation for clients in the theatrical market. Outside of work and student life, I’ve been channeling my inspiration into writing creative and media analysis pieces and have been growing my palette of skills by learning screenwriting techniques and social media management. I also happily lend a hand at my parent’s small business whenever I have the chance, hauling merchandise or translating emails to manufacturers across seas.I look forward to challenging this always changing industry head-on and am happy to connect with anyone to achieve our goals together.
