From 2011 to 2013 I was very actively involed in the association, dedicating over 20 hours per week to organize cultural and leisure activities for the Erasmus students, to attend and help running the scheduled events, and to help developing the ESN section.Achievements:• Board Member - Treasurer. As a treasurer I was responsible for the implementation of both the official accounting system in legal terms and the corresponding internal procedures. In the Board, we were evaluating past and current performance, co-managing the section's growth, the internal conflicts and the coming agenda, and setting new objectives and actions to achieve them.• Project Manager: Development and implementation of the Buddy Program at UPF. This consists of researching some volunteers within the local college community to be a mentor (buddy) to international students during the beginning of the exchange academic period in our university.• Contribution to the Social Erasmus (SE) initiative at the UPF level. This is an ESN international project with the aim of involving international students, participating in university exchange, in to social and volunteering activities in their host country.• Representative in national and European congresses (PN Barcelona 2009, PN Valencia 2010, SWEP Lisbon 2011).

I worked with the Modern Foreign Languages Department helping the Spanish sub-department in the oral skills teaching. My responsibility consisted of preparing the Secondary School and Sixth Form students for the for the yearly Spanish oral exams, GCSE, A2 and AS tests.By reducing class size, I helped maintaining the peace of the lesson, sharing pressure points with the teacher, enabling more individual help to be given, extending the more able and supporting the weaker students.My role brought authenticity, validity and naturalness to the Spanish language teaching through communicative activities, giving the opportunity to students to hear the foreign language all around them.My tasks:- Planing, preparing and carrying out creative activities and exercises such as groupwork and role-play in order to enable students to improve their Spanish up to the adequate level, and encouraging teachers to use a variety of teaching styles.- Giving an up-to-date picture of modern culture to pupils and offering links with the "real world" of language learning, awakening pupil curiosity.- Introduce pupils to the Spanish contemporary culture and to illustrate the extent to which the Spanish language is spoken.
