About Laura O'Leary
I work at the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) as a Commonwealth Games (CWG) Legacy Project Officer. In my current role, I support the Head of the Commonwealth Games Legacy Enhancement Fund (CWGLEF) and the wider programme team with the project management of the CWGLEF, which is a £70m fund that will enhance the legacy of the CWG and ensure its benefits continue their positive impact for many years to come. I take pride in my ability to build strong working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders and I am also a highly organised individual with experience in developing systems and processes that help facilitate effective project management by ensuring projects are delivered compliantly, on time, within budget, and in accordance with programme objectives.
