I worked in various capacities of the Fire Service from 2008-2021 beginning with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources as a Wildland Firefighter while studying Spanish at Washington State University. I spent fire years as a career Firefighter at North Mason Regional Fire Authority. In 2019, I obtained a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington. I left the Fire Service in 2021 and started down a new path with my partner and two children that led in an entrepreneurial direction as the owner of Details Wine Bar. My knowledge of business management and marketing grows constantly as I face new and exciting challenges every day through my business. In August, I started a new career position as Shift Captain with South Mason Fire & Rescue.
