As Upton Hill's first MBA intern, I was on a team that worked with a local payor on a project that involved fully integrating a vendor as well as improving operational efficiencies between the vendor and payor staff. Additionally, I spent time weekly conducting research for various business initiatives and client deliverables. I also collaborated on business development initiatives and created sell sheets to highlight areas of expertise.Following my internship I was asked to stay on part-time at the client site to continue to help with operational improvement, team building, and strategic planning.

As a Communications Officer I was responsible for the well-being of my Marines, the proper functioning of our communications network, and the accountability and maintenance of communications equipment.
