Develop and implement a new company-wide (with a focus on Engineering) Project Portfolio Model (PPM) to better align and prioritize work with strategic goals and objectives. Work with the leadership team (CEO and VPs) to develop and articulate quantifiable objectives against which to measure performance and prioritize projects. Lead a team of centralized Strategic Planners who develop and roll up complex plans based on leadership-defined objectives, working with global divisions to provide information which informs regional plans. Lead various company-wide governance boards and prioritization councils working up, down and across the organization to counsel on and build consensus for decisions and standards. Mentor Program Managers in and outside my team, as well as others who interface with Program Management.

Managed a team of Program Managers who worked on various global initiatives to make digital content available on FamilySearch. Participated in negotiations with European and North American partners to initiate or modify business-critical agreements. Led various councils, including a regular business productivity council, reporting on metrics and conducting analysis on new and broken processes. Facilitated the development of division-wide annual plan and goals. Acted as a chief of staff for a Vice President, managing budgets, assisting with resource planning and counseling with leadership teams on various initiatives.

Managed programs to publish digital content on proprietary and partner websites,coordinating various project initiatives and managers across the company. Coordinated and bridged work between cross-functional teams, helping develop more effective and healthy dynamics. Worked directly with external global partners to negotiate new records agreements and report on deliverables.

Oversaw programs in the IT Security space with an annual multi-million dollar budget. Partner with customers, Engineering, Architecture, Portfolio Management and QA to develop and deliver new solutions. Used proprietary systems to manage programs and projects waiting for entry into the process. Managedproject appropriations processes as well as timelines and scope with technical teams to ensure delivery to committed dates. Mentored Solution Managers and other team members on project/program best practices.

Manage enhancements to legacy database systems for a 200+ usergroup. Also gathered, refined and documented requirements for new IT applications and assisted in the automation of manual processes.

Manage a team of 10 developers as well as a 2-week enhancement release cycle. Worked with product managers to hone requirements, prioritize and document system changes, and implement fixes and changes.

Manage user requirements, testing, enhancement and documentation for a set of HR-based, homegrown, Peoplesoft tools. Responsible for business process analysis and introducing technology to streamline and/or automate manual processes.
