About Laura R. Gray

After 27 years immersed in the Italian wine industry I have direct experience of every aspect of production, export, marketing and distribution for both EVOO and wine. I am familiar with the more labyrinthine aspects of Italian bureaucracy, financial administration, health and safety, denomination compliance, labor laws, EEC funding etc. This means that I am qualified to oversee and “translate” the complex reality of a winery on behalf of its owners, as well as to implement steps to turn a vision into reality. I have experience in label design and dry goods compliance. I am a communicator and create social media content, website posts, blog-posts, newsletters etc. I have extensive connections amongst wine journalists and distributors, in Italy and globally. I am a keen strategist and marketer and understand how to create and maintain label loyalty and DTC sales.My book about Montalcino, The Magpie's Guide to Montalcino, will be globally available from 1st September.
