I lead projects supporting operations, product, engineering, and compliance within the financial products and services company. This includes effectively leading small to large-scale projects from inception to completion, including a new technology deployment, a new underwriting platform for a lending product, and a new line multidisciplinary line of business.

I served as an Executive Assistant prior to being promoted to manage the $16B Student Loan portfolio and drive continuous performance improvement. I led improvement efforts to bridge gaps, including establishing workstream meetings to improve communication and KPI management. I drove programs by leading key milestones for roadmaps and monitoring SLAs against contractual obligations, as well as upgraded program guidelines and established periodic audit controls to address deficiencies against these expectations. I also monitored and analyzed trends, enhanced reporting to investors and C-level executives, and improved business review reporting.

As a consultant, I was responsible for editing, formatting, and transcription of key documents for the Department of Defense, working specifically with the Naval Postgraduate School on the publication of documents that were used to provide guidance on public policy.

I provided support for various research projects funded by the Department of Defense (DoD) to help understand and advance missions. This included collaborating with cross-functional team members to work on a large symposium and small research initiatives. I formatted and published projects for DoD and provided executive-level support for high-ranking military personnel. I also facilitated the annual Naval Postgraduate Acquisition Research Symposium with 400+ participants, providing a unique opportunity for NPS graduate students to present research and exchange ideas with senior policymakers, practitioners, and scholars.

I reported directly to the CEO and President of the company that offered mobile and telecommunications/telecom devices and equipment. I oversaw an office and operational staff of 25 and one direct report. I prepared inside sales reports for the VP of Worldwide Sales, completed payroll and state audit paperwork, established various policies, designed sales plans, and created/edited contracts. I also served as a member of the Executive Committee and prepared presentations to the Board of Directors.

I managed an office support staff of eight people for an Information Technology company. I held positions on the Mergers and Acquisitions Team, Legal Affairs Team, Investor Relations Committee, and assisted the Office of the CEO. I worked with outside legal counsel on IT patents, intellectual property issues, warrant agreements, board minutes, resolutions, and shareholder meetings. My staff transcribed and published all briefings from executive meetings and disseminated company-wide, as well as facilitated executive meetings, briefings, board meetings, and calls.

I was a technical writer for Phobos Corporation as a consultant. I developed and maintained install, configuration, and how-to documents for customers of Phobos products. I also completed writing assignments per set standards regarding order, clarity, style, and terminology.
