Although sales and business development tasks are fast becoming an integral part of the law industry, these tasks can sometimes prove to be a burden to busy lawyers. Having sales support resources in place can allow front line staff to concentrate on their client facing activity. Duties:•Responsible for the organisation of events across a number of departments and offices whilst working with a range of budgets •Organisation of marketing and sales collateral for events and sales meetings•Assisting in identifying target markets and potential clients, carrying out background research using the internet and MINT•Researching industry events for the office to attend and managing the bookings •Management of the bespoke CRM system•Preparation of content and mailing lists for email campaigns•Providing social media support for the teams•Developing relationships with external stakeholders and work referrers on behalf of the Fee Earners •General administrative and ad hoc tasks supporting marketing activity

-Responsible for taking and converting conference/accommodation enquiries for the 42 hotels within the Britannia Group. -Putting together tailor made proposals, negotiating rates to meet client’s budgets and chasing bookings. -Keeping the CRM system up to date with bookings and enquires. -Participating in company events showcasing new hotels and event packages. -Face to face sales and marketing. -Weekly, proactive calling to build productive relationships and gain new business.
