I offer reiki to patients and family members at home visits and at vigils, offer compassionate presence for people who are actively dying, as well as companion visits, and respite in various facilities and homes as needed.

I prepare teachings inspired by Torah/Middot/Siddur/Chaggim/and personal experience, in order to lead meditation on alternate Wednesdays, sometimes on Shabbat and Holydays. I also co-lead Healing Services with Rabbi Jonathan Spira-Savett in Elul.

The Healing Womb is bi-monthly meditation tele-circle for women on a healing journey.The Healing Womb is a sanctuary of spirit, of love, of holding; a virtual living room, where friends gather for thirty quiet minutes every other week and connect to the nurturing flow that this life offers us through heartful, mindful awareness in the comfort of our own homes.Even if you are not living with a chronic illness, healing is a broad term. Minucha B’Lev, is an adult education offering created by Laura Hegfield for the Temple Beth Abraham Kehillah in Nashua, NH, but is available for anyone to experience. Mindfulness practice teaches us to be with whatever arises in our lives, the joyful times, the challenging times and the many moments in between that are not so exciting, but worthy of our attention too. I think of these as sacred ordinary moments. Through mindfulness practice we begin to notice blessings at the most unexpected times and in the most unexpected places. In silence, we cultivate chesed, lovingkindness and rachamim, compassion, honoring the thoughts, emotions and physical sensations we experience while learning to release judgment; to simply be with what is. . This meditation podcast series is an opportunity to do just this, return again and again to the present moment and rest in our hearts.

-Moderate Khanti: A Healing Circle, offering support and being a listening presence for the women in this group.-Create weekly healing invitations.-Create and record original meditation podcasts.The organization transformed...I now write a column for Buddha Chick Life, the next phase of Buddha Chick (the umbrella for Khanti: A Healing Circle, and started my own meditation healing circle, The Healing Womb)

-Worked with the director of the religious school, Noreen Leibson, to develop concepts for unique art projects that reflected personal experiences of Torah and the Divine based on text and prayer as well as working directly with the students in grades k-12.-Assisted in leading Jr. Congregation Services.-Led experiential High Holiday Services for students k-2.-Facilitated Rosh Hodesh It's a Girl Thing! groups. -Co-facilitated and chaperoned several Shabbatonim with the school Director Noreen Leibson. -Was a member of the teaching faculty for the High School for 8th through 12th grade students teaching core classes on middot and developed and taught spiritual art electives for two years.-Continued on as a teacher when TBA Hebrew High School merged with Prozdor H.H.S as a satellite campus. At that point I also added yoga and meditation to the courses I developed and taught. -Substitute teacher for the weekday classes for 3rd through 7th grade.-Facilitated Yoga/Meditation Shabbat Services for adults in the TBA community. -Co-facilitated healing services with Rabbi Jon Spira-Savett.

I have created curriculum and taught a variety of courses to students including Yoga & Jewish Spirituality, and multi-media art courses taught with an eye to spiritual awareness.
