As part of the larger Lutron Communications team, I am a co-lead of a small team of web designers, working closely with a variety of teams ranging from Web Operations, Development, and Marketing. With a focus on the technical side of visual design, I am an expert at the company's CMS platform and problem-solving new solutions with existing materials; the main admin for the company web design systems; and lead the development handoff and quality assurance processes.Most notably during my time here, I am the technical lead visual designer on a large scale web site redesign and reorganization effort. We are working to combine approximately 10+ subdomains into one comprehensive site, working with a larger team of UX designers, UI designers, content strategists, and key stakeholders with the goal of creating a brand new design system that will be applied to 100+ pages. As the tech lead designer, one of my main responsibilities is to own and manage the new web design system, working to implement a variety of new designs and interactions, while maintaining clear organization and documentation, across both designers and developers.When not working on business projects, I create and maintain a large collection of standard operating procedures for the web design team; collaborated and spearheaded an updated web project process; taught a variety of Figma classes for developers, project managers, and designers, and prepared class materials into a bank for future reference; and lead with other departments on web optimization efforts.

As part of a close-knit team, I specialized in designing and producing 10+ annual magazines for the American military community stationed in Europe. Our magazine and newspaper distribution ranged from the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and into the Middle East. Outside of editorial design, the team also supported the Revenue team with creating ads for our sponsoring clients, and the Marketing team with assets for various events, promotions, and newspaper distribution. During my time, I also spearheaded the implementation of a new project managament tool to organize our increasing workload and overall efficiency.
