It was one of the most meaningful and positive- albeit stressful at times- experiences of my life. In addition to an amazing work experience I made lifelong friends.

Singer, Songwriter, Session SingerFreelance 1988 - 1991I toured as a background singer with a band out of Europe, sang jiggles and did song demos, performed for corporate events and sang in Vegas. One of my favorite memories of Vegas is when large buses filled with camera wielding tourists would come in the side door of the casino where I sang. We were a group of 3 women who sang 50's and 60's music in costume so when we saw the bus coming we would position ourselves in the corner near the door and freeze into a pose. When they entered taking pictures of these lifelike statues we quietly counted to 3 and said BOO! Not sure how many lifespans may have been shorted but there were a lot of laughs!

He asked me to be in their video and I said I would if he would come here my band play. He came to see me sing that night, I was in the video the next day and that evening he told me he was going to make me a STAR! Soon after I moved to NYC, showcased for multiple record companies at SRI and was invited to join the Chrysalis Label. During that time my new manager joined forces with one of 2 of Cyndi Lauper's Managers to co-manage me. It was an exciting time where I met many successful and revered musicians and songwriters. I wrote with or was written for by amazing people and was being produced by Mike Chapman who worked with Blondie, Pat Benatar, Tina Turner and many more. What an exciting time!I did discover the music business was not my cup of tea but the experience was once in a lifetime and I have no regrets! -
Top 40 SingerCinematrix 1979 - Apr 1983Created and toured with my band playing "Top 40" music up and down the eastern seaboard. It was an amazing amount of work and fun. We saw loads of beaches and enormous clubs. We also got all of our PA equipment stolen from us in Hollywood FL.
