She has also been honored as a Billboard Branding and Country Power Player, a Fortune Most Powerful Women speaker, and a board member of the Country Music Association, and The Onsite Foundation.After experiencing the unexpected loss of a loved one due to substance abuse as a result of trauma, Laura’s philanthropic efforts focused on mental health, substance abuse disorder, addiction, and trauma. Together with The Onsite Foundation, Laura helped develop and launch a first-of-its-kind trauma-informed therapeutic program called “Triumph Over Tragedy” that provides tools, support, and a safe community for survivors of mass shootings . Laura recently served as President of the Board of Directors for The Onsite Foundation.In 2020, FlyteVu launched the FlyteVu Fund, a donor-advised fund to expand the agency’s mission to give back to community. FlyteVu has donated more than $1.225 Million to various charities since the agency's inception in 2015.
