We are an internal service unit, which offers professional and result-oriented System development of applications and services. We manage and take care of daily operations as well as end-user support related to our applications. We aim to do that more efficiently and at a lower cost level year after year. The main goal is to ensure Lindorff’s future growth by providing innovative solutions to business challenges. We deliver with high quality and standards, new scalable solutions to satisfy customer needs which comply with legal requirements. Lindorff ECE PMO is an internal service function where are all our Project Managers working. The team is responsible for all our regions projects, which vary from new customer implementation projects, IT projects to internal business development projects. The team ensures that Project success is a norm at Lindorff, all our projects are done professionally according our Project Framework. The Framework is based on PMI PMBOK® Guide and Standards, we maintain and further develop our processes and methodologies continuously. The team is giving training to all our internal stakeholders and sometimes to externals as well, training covers topics from project way of working to best practices in project management area.

As a Head of PMO, I was responsible for establishing Project Management Office (PMO) for Lindorff Eastern-Central Europe Area, which consists of 5 countries Finland, Russia and Baltics States. The task covered implementation of selected PMI Project Framework into actions, designing of standards and processes related to project management. One of the success factors was establishment of professional project way of working in Lindorff across organization from Steering Committee Members to Project Members. Continuous improvement of project management practices enables successful projects every time. Professional Project Portfolio Management which covers all projects from initiation to closing phase ensures that the project success is a norm at Lindorff today.During this position I acted as a project manager in one of the company’s biggest change projects. Lindorff established new management model at 2010, which had several key cornerstones such as creating a Quality Management System (QMS), which included designing and documenting of all company’s key processes, process descriptions, roles and responsibilities and work instructions. That project was a big cultural change project. One of the best successes of the project was that I was able to involve people without formal mandate, just by influencing and selling the benefits for them.

I worked in a small team that designed, developed and deployed a ground breaking Product Portfolio Management System for top management use across Nokia organizations. The system covered Nokia’s all R&D phone projects and service catalog worldwide. I acted as a Project Manager for system development project. During the System roll-out and deployment I had the responsibility of market system internally and ensure internal buy-in and trainings. After deployment phase I was responsible for the development roadmap, requirement management, implementation and maintenance activities together with external vendor.
