Launched and currently maintaining an Etsy shop selling hand crafted crochet items. Have optimised listings and social media promotion to increase site traffic, leading to repeat 'Best Seller' rankings. Within months have had hundreds of sales, handle all customer queries independently, and motivated and determined enough to execute every step from idea conception through to sale and postage.

A varied role that was focused on ensuring students of all abilities accessed the same level of education. This was done by working 1:1 with SEN students and forming relationships with them and their extended teams to understand their needs, and form and deliver appropriate interventions. The abilities and their severity were very diverse and required high levels of patience, knowledge of all subjects, organisation, and admin to monitor and review the progress of all students.

I was responsible for ensuring a fun, stimulating, and safe place for children of the club to play freely as well as leading specific planned activities; adapting my skills and experience to work with a variety of age ranges each day. Comprehensive care was provided after extensive training (including safeguarding). Helping with club administration and maintaining good relationships with staff, parents, and children. Enthusiasm and initiative were used to understand and adapt to the varied needs of children and their families.

Promoting for a local club and venue to students allowed for the development of communication skills. Regularly approaching students and finding ways to connect with them, and from that, figuring out why they would love the venue/events at the club. This resulted in higher traffic into the venue, more customers, and more sales.

Working independently through this online company, the position involved developing intrapersonal relationships with customers and their pets. This included displaying my trustworthiness to look after their pets, and enter and lock their homes regularly. Responsibility and quick judgments were key skills, as maintaining the safety of the animal and the relationship with the owner were paramount to being successful.

Key duties of this role involved developing and maintaining close relationships to regular and valued customers – for some it was the only interaction they had in the day, and they returned for a positive interaction. Besides these interpersonal skills, many hours working were done alone, allowing independent working to improve. Responsibility was high also, as the role involved opening and closing the store, cleaning, stock maintenance, cashing in and out, accepting deliveries, and banking every night.

As a customer assistant, my main role in the shop was to collect online shopping for customers, but also maintain flexibility by assisting in various departments on a regular basis. I was often the first colleague a customer turned to for help, and have plenty of experience in helping them through a variety of issues and generally engaging with the public. I also learnt to pick skills up quickly here, as I was routinely required to move to different roles and carry out the job ASAP.
