I live, breathe and sleep Farm Adventure! No joke!Having worked in different sectors and locations over the years, I've found "The One"!When a wonderful friend came up with the strapline "filth, fun & farming" she was absolutely spot on! I love it! I've moved all over the country, met loads of fantastic people, and now spend my time living in North Yorkshire on our working farm of 250+ Aberdeen Angus cattle, some pigs and chickens and of course our farm dog who you'll likely see in many a post!A year in the life is from lambing (likely in the middle of the night!), running groups with the team, sorting logistics for our hen/stag parties on weekends, followed by corporates during the week for some completely unique team building. Then downtime on a Sunday is mucking out the chickens, maybe even helping get the cattle in for some treatments (not quite the pampering us humans get!), and try to actually get some time with the kids!It's diverse and side-splittingly fun! Don't get me wrong - it can be stressful and bloody hard work, especially expanding to Shropshire, but when I sit in an office with a view like no other, I can't moan too much!I never could have dreamed of doing the things I do now - can you imagine watching a group of city folk, never having been remotely near a sheep, nevermind a whole flock and being asked to move them around the field for points? It's even more brilliant when we talk facilitation because the dynamics in a team are immediately apparent, personalities shine through in many different ways ... it's gold!Anyway, the point - I love it! I want everyone to come and love it!If you're thinking of something different to do with your team, I will scream and shout at you ... THIS IS THE PLACE! :)

Then there are the people who want to drive a tractor ... no more, no less, and we can provide a tractor driving experience - driving a real John Deere tractor, just for an hour if wanted, or up to two hours and include seasonal work such as ploughing!My job is all of it! From the initial enquiry, to the end delivery.As a small company, growing quickly, we just get stuck into everything. Generally folk come and partake in the activities and see me chatting, socialising ... which yes I get to do a lot of. Such is the nature of events and working with Clients! There is also the office and other day to day work which is massively varied, but ultimately a brilliant job. I can't help but love the flexibility of this all. Presently, farms seem to be all about the kids. Which is great. But behind all those grown up faces, there are lots of budding farmers, or people who just want to have some fun on the farm, be it for their annual away day, or with a group of friends, getting competitive. It is brilliant to watch these people ... all of them .. learn, listen, have a laugh, challenge themselves, and hopefully always leave with stories they'll get no-where else. The Trip Advisor reviews and the fact that people come back, really speaks volumes for me.
