Won over $50 million in new contracts.Led proposal development efforts in Jordan, Afghanistan, West Bank, Ethiopia, DRC, Ghana, Sudan, Liberia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Dominican Republic, Mali, Iraq, Georgia and Mexico.

Employed by CARANA Corp prior to its acquisition by Palladium. Project Manager for 5 successful multi-million dollar economic development projects in Africa (focused on Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Togo, Benin, DRC and Morocco). Traveled 30‐50% of time to field offices to manage project delivery and client relationships.In addition, led several field research studies including a large scale study of potential Venture Capital investment opportunities in Northern Ghana, identifying multiple prospects. Resulted in over $20m of private investment in Ghanaian companies.

Short term position. Was responsible for providing technical input and advisory to develop best practice, comprehensive financial literacy and business acumen capacity building training materials for global clients, with a particular focus on conceptualizing and building training appropriate for farmers in East Africa. In addition, liaised with global field offices to build online library of existing Technoserve training materials.

Short term position. Advised and built relationships with range of agribusiness clients, and assisted with running a business plan competition “Ghana Innovation Marketplace” alongside the World Bank, to encourage private sector participation in urban waste management in Ghana. Tasks included: Organizing conference to raise awareness and publicize the competition and ensuring participation from key stakeholders, contributing to proposal collection and evaluation, developing capacity building sessions for winning entrants.

3 year rotation program through valuations, restructuring, transaction support (M&A) and infrastructure project finance teams, culminated in one year in the infrastructure project finance team, and promotion within that team. Provided financial analysis, research and advisory for high profile corporate and government clients on wide range of projects including valuations, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, financial evaluation, budgeting and forecasting, bankruptcy, infrastructure PPPs, and project financing. Industry sectors included oil and gas, clean energy, waste management, banking, mining, and transport.
