Commencing employment at the Higher Education Academy following a massive organisational restructure, myself and my colleague re-established the Higher Education Academy Events team by successfully implementing the following:sourcing event venues, liaising with venues on catering, AV and general running of the event;project Managing and streamlining each event using our processes by communicating efficiently with various teams across the organisation;working with strict financial budgets and working closely with Finance team on new systems and contributing towards the smoothing out of financial processes;general administration of events including managing various mailboxes, working with delegate lists, logistical planning for events, producing name badges and preparing materials to be couriered;attending the event, setting up and managing the event team on the day, alongside greeting and registering delegates and offering amazing customer service;post event tasks, such as distributing feedback survey and ensuring final payments have been paid;working with various systems: Sage, CRM, Drupal, ClickTravel, Outlook, Excel, ExpenseOnDemand, Questback and JIRA;

I survived two major restructures when employed here and over five years I held three different positions:Administrator, CommunicationsTeam Assistant, Funding ProgrammesAssistant I enjoyed working at Arts Council England and still hold what they do in high regard - funding great art. During my time here as Administrator, Communications I:wrote regional Grants for the arts funding press releases;managed the regional website and images library;compiled and sent out a monthly e-bulletin.As Team Assistant, Funding Programmes, I:managed a team of 6 senior staff;organised weekly Grants for the arts meetings, which included papers, minute taking, recording results, managing and reporting on budgets and results, informing grant recipients; gave admin support on all Capital funded projects across the region which included organising meetings, minute taking and organising capital filing systems;general wider office tasks with other Team Assistants, such as reception cover, fire alarm testing and facilities.As Assistant, I;was the only support member of staff in the building following a final restructure, so managed all facilities aspects of the building, including reception;was PA to the Regional Director arranging meetings, organising travel, processing expenses;
