In this leadership role, I supervise a team of five child advocate managers as well as theirvolunteers. I am responsible for reviewing staff work product for quality, guiding case decisionsand recommendations to the court. Additionally, I track compliance of staff with deadlines andtraining requirements and report directly to circuit leadership on progress, issues and solutions as related to the advocacy of my team. I have a direct hand in conducting and participating in activities to recruit volunteers, including training of volunteers as well as training and mentoring staff. I also am responsible for facilitating the human services internship partnership between our program and Indian River State College.

As a Child Advocate Manager, I was focused on on achieving the Guardian ad Litem Program's primary mission: advocating for the best interests of children involved in the dependency court system. In this position, I work directly with children, as a staff advocate, and I work with assigned volunteer child advocates; guiding them through the court system, accompanying them in court and at meetings with members of the permanency team to achieve best outcomes. I oversee the path to permanency for children and connect them and their families to resources in the community.

With the guidance of the Foundation's Director of Development/Sustainable Giving, I managed the Foundation's annual giving programs with a focus on coordinating fundraising communications including direct mail programming, newsletters, impact/stewardship reporting, digital communications, and annual giving societies. I also managed the Foundation's community campaign committees (volunteer fundraisers), the Women in Philanthropy giving circle, a mid-level giving society and coordinate events related to the groups I managed.

In this role, I provided a high level of administrative support to the Assistant Vice President and assisted in the production of donor proposals and presentation materials. In addition, I composed and filed all gift correspondence, managed Raiser's Edge donor database entry and maintenance and generated financial, prospect tracking, constituent and other queries/reports from Raiser's Edge.

As a member of the Friendhsip House team, I researched, planned, and facilitated recruitment opportunities in the community which raise awareness of department services which subsequently aided in the growth of the program. I also produced updated advertising and recruitment materials for distribution. Additionally, I was responsible for carrying out tasks directly with adult, teenage, and child clients including the development of life skills, case planning, and risk/safety assessments and plans. I worked exclusively with special event agencies in the planning and organizing of campus-wide events and managed the facilitation of special events on campus both independently and with a team of other interns. I actively promoted and publicized special events to the Marywood community by creating marketing materials, assisted in the budgeting and allocation of funds used to book campus events.Undergraduate Student Government Association: Served as an elected board member and member of the Student Government Association finance committee.
