As Programme Coordinator for the Driving for Better Business Programme, I support our work to help employers reduce road risk while improving driver safety & wellbeing. This support extends across project management and marketing support for the Campaign Manager, event management and stakeholder communications across the wider team.Driving for Better Business is a government-backed National Highways programme to help employers in both the private and public sectors reduce work-related road risk, control the associated costs and improve compliance with current legislation and guidance. Our ambition is to bring about radical change in how organisations think about work-related road risk. Our mission is to improve the levels of compliance for all those who drive or ride for work, demonstrating the significant business benefits of managing work-related road risk more effectively.

My role as Director of Partner Relations involved a wide range of responsibilities including managing our NHS Partnerships and growing our Baby Box distribution network throughout the country. My role required relationship management, advocacy management, project management and business development skills.As a small team it was essential we were flexible, adaptable, innovative, quick to problem solve and collaborative across all aspects of the operation.Inspired by the Finnish tradition, the Baby Box Programme was first and foremost an education programme supporting parents throughout pregnancy and in the first few months after birth with essential information and education from NHS and healthcare providers. Our key messages included safe sleep, health during pregnancy, smoking cessation and breastfeeding.
