When I succeed in improving programs and processes, measuring outcomes and communicating effectively, that’s when I’m most fulfilled.At heart, I’m a problem-solver. There’s nothing I like better than analyzing a situation to discover strengths and weaknesses, then finding the right tools and resources to bring about a good resolution. But it’s not a solo endeavor. By creating ways to bring people together and empowering them to bring their best, we can have maximum impact. Communication is the key to building trust--and building coalitions--with internal teams, clients, external stakeholders and community partners. Being transparent through clear, audience-specific messaging is foundational to that trust. I love to pair my critical thinking and writing skills to create and manage content that paves the way to action.While I love working on the nuts and bolts of program delivery, it’s knowing I’ve helped clients that brings me joy. As a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, I can help folks in person, which is especially meaningful. When I’m not working or volunteering, you can find me in the kitchen exploring a new passion, just right for the quarantine era: creating beautiful baked goods to “cupcake bomb” friends and neighbors.
