About Laura Laugier

I founded Neurodiverse Families Events becauseI am the mother to a child with Cri du Chat 🦁syndrome (a rare genetic condition) and epilepsy. The past six years have taught me the challenges and joys of this journey, the importance of finding balance, and the importance of becoming resourceful. I'm well known for being extremely curious and reflecting on what I learn to help others.Speaking professionally as an advocate for inclusion, neurodiversity, and awareness of rare diseases allows me to share my family’s experience and collective knowledge.Coming from a multicultural background, I have spent seven years in retail and 24 years in the luxury hospitality industry in 20 countries across three continents to understand the nuances of different cultures and communities. When I became a triple-certified coach ten years ago, little did I know I would use my skills and serve the way I do today. I help other parents and carers of children with special needs become more resourceful, confident, and fulfilled by helping them build BALANCE their way without guilt. This is also done by creating and facilitating extraordinary learning opportunities in private or group settings.
