Laura is a registered Architect and Interior Designer in Texas and Colorado with a range of experiences that includes remodels, renovations, and new designs of homes. In 2022, Laura and her family moved from Dallas, Texas to Denver, Colorado. Laura is co-owner of hpd architecture + interiors and is the Principal of the Denver office.Laura is passionate about residential architecture and the stories behind the people who live in her community. She enjoys the discovery the “why” behind her clients’ requests. For Laura, design is successful when the solutions meld seamlessly with the homeowner’s family and lifestyle. She is the co-host and producer of the audio podcast The Architecture Happy Hour. The podcast has been downloaded over 300,000 times and has listeners in 179 countries. It has also been featured on numerous Top Podcast lists.Community involvement and professional development are important to Laura and her firm. Laura currently serves on the Boards of Directors for The Dallas Woman’s Forum and the Arts Advocacy Alliance (AIR4arts). She served as Chair of the AIA Dallas Small Firms Roundtable and was a member of the Texas Society of Architects Digital Communications Committee. She was president of the Texas Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association for two years. Laura was recognized as a 10 Under Ten Best Young Architect award recipient in by the American Institute of Architects Dallas. She was honored to be one of the "Best Designers in Dallas" by D Home magazine. She was also honored by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the "Forty Under 40" outstanding business professionals.
