I was especially involved on those projects that had digital deliverables, such as social, mobile, motion or web components and was also responsible for working across teams and geographic locations to ensure our larger team built the necessary and applicable technical skills to support emerging technology and new marketing trends.

As a Sr. Art Director I was part of the Global Creative Services team, which supports Thomson Reuters businesses to achieve advertising and marketing goals. Working with teams in New York and London we completed hundreds of high-impact, integrated communication campaigns annually that leverage deep product knowledge, maximize market intelligence, and generate efficiencies. Integrated campaigns are custom projects with deliverables ranging from print pieces to building wraps to mobile sites. Campaigns are created for a variety of purposes, including product launches, event theming, positioning for products, brands, and solutions and internal campaigns.

AIGA Minnesota supports the interests of professionals, educators and students who are engaged in the process of designing, regardless of where they are in the arc of their careers. Their mission is to advance design as a professional craft, strategic tool and vital cultural force. They encourage the exchange of ideas and information among professionals involved in design and other related fields and are one of the largest AIGA chapters in the nation, serving nearly 1,300 members in Minnesota and the upper Midwest.As an AIGA volunteer I was involved in the conception of an AIGA Minnesota initiative to create tools and programming pertinent to Emerging Designers, a previously underserved group of designers. We aimed to drive membership and involvement of these designers who are in a state of shift, be they recent grads or professionals jumping into a new aspect of the industry.

Blinc Publishing is a boutique design and letterpress studio that pushes pixels and cranks presses all in a day’s work.As an apprentice, I studied the art of letterpress printing under a third-generation printer. I was responsible for the design, type setting and printing of limited-runs that included both art and practical pieces.
