As a Project Manager (PM) for the credit authorization system team, I need to act as the liaison between the different Technology and Business teams, having resources located in different time zones and with different cultures around the globe. Adherence to customer quality methodology and standards is mandatory, as all projects are eligible to be audited by both TCS and customer.I have managed up to 20 projects at the same time, of varied sizes and complexity, including large top priority projects with a budget of 1.5 million and 18 impacted teams.Main responsibilities:- Submit Impact Requests for new Business/Technology initiatives- Engage impacted teams- Prepare, collect and consolidate sizings- Create, maintain and close project in PM Tool- Negociate and obtain project Funding (work with Business Partners & Funding team)- Monitor project Costs- Manage project Risks and Change Requests- Provide project status reporting to Senior Leadership (VP level)- Prepare and maintain documentation- Obtain sign-offs on all deliverables from key parties- Conduct project meeting, share minutes and follow up on action items- Moderate Show & Tell sessions- Create and maintain User Stories and tasks in Rally- Work in collaboration with other PMs in the team to align on Resources Capacity Plan (workload)

As a secondary role, while performing the Project Manager role, I also provided management assistance to my TCS Portfolio Manager.Main responsibilities:- Creation of Contracts- Interviews and Selection of Candidates for New Positions- Resource Capacity and Forecasting- Timesheet Management (review and approval)- Billing Process Execution- Assistance with Issues (escalation point of contact for issues regarding infrastructure, transportation, timesheets, vacations, project billing)

Acted as the Team Leader of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) for Worldspan in Uruguay. The EPMO was out-tasked from its headquarters in USA to Uruguay. Knowledge transition was made onsite during two months with the personnel being replaced. Main responsibilities:- Balanced Workload Distribution- Estimations and Forecasts- Risk Management - Metrics calculation- Causal Analysis & Defect Prevention Reports- Weekly Status Reports- Conduct Status Meetings (Team Members / Client / TCS Management)- Human Resources Management, Performance Evaluation & Development Plans- Provide PM Tool (Niku Clarity Product suite) back-end support for approximately 1,400+ users- Enhance PMO Procedures and Templates- Divisional & Portfolio Managers’ Scorecards- Portfolio Reviews Presentations to Top Management- Run Part of Worldspan Billing Cycle

The purpose of the Quality Center of Excellence practice was to provide support to all projects and other quality groups in the Uruguayan delivery center, as well as quality consultants working onsite on software solutions and process improvement methodologies.Main responsibilities:- Creation and maintenance of quality related assets- Conduct trainings to TCS personnel on the CMMI Model- Conduct Audits to: Projects (development / maintenance / enhancement), other Support Groups in the center and Management Functions

The purpose of the project was to create a new application to replace an existing one. Also, data migration was required. I participated in all the project phases, mainly codifying Stored Procedures in Transac SQL and creating the test cases.
