I believe we all have the power to change the world every single day through small acts of kindness. So that’s what I set out to do. I want to leave every situation, every interaction, feeling better than when I found it.At first glance, I’m a little all over the place. My personality. The way I tell stories. My CV. I fully embrace it. Being a person is messy and growth often doesn’t involve linear trajectory. So I live it out in the open in hopes that other people are inspired to not live their lives inside their own heads with the pressure of some imaginary timeline of achievements.But, the one thing that threads through everything I’ve done and do is that I love humanity. From a very young age, I was obsessed with people — how we behave, our experiences, our souls and all those things we process inside. It’s why I decided to get a degree in Psychology. Working in the hospitality industry on the Las Vegas Strip I got to meet hundreds of new people from all over the world every day and positively impact their travel experiences. As a trainer I got to ensure our new hires were fully prepared, but more importantly, felt properly welcomed and embraced. In financial services, I get to experience meaningful human connections with individuals and families as they navigate life's most financially impactful milestones. As a marketer, I get to reach thousands of people through stories.I believe we are more than just our job titles and encourage a work-life balance where work and life aren’t at odds and you can just be a whole person at all times. I’m a Team Mom for a youth baseball team my husband coaches. I’m an advisory board member for a wonderful organization, Serving Our Kids, which provides weekend meals to children who would otherwise go hungry. I have three (soon to be 4!) dogs and if I had the space I’d rescue ALL of the dogs because I love them too. I’m just a human helping humans in any way I can.
