Working with the traveller community to create educational and vocational programmes for the young people within the community. Spearheaded the pilot project, Deekin to Jan, which is a non-formal learning programme, designed to offer an alternative to mainstream education for travellers. Designed and delivered the course throughout the pilot project and now exploring expansion to other areas.Involved in strategic development around the educational journey of young gypsy travellers, lead in partnership work around this topic, engagement and delivery specialist.

My role is focused on supporting long-term unemployed clients, into work. The level of support is varied and tailored to suit the needs of the individual and the support can take many forms, from one to one intensive work, to the design and delivery of group sessions. Another key element of the post is employer engagement, spending time supporting employers, learning about their company cultures and recruitment needs, whilst offering light touch in-work support and advice regarding funding and training available to their staff.Currently involved in ESF programmes and Fair Start Scotland.

My role as Outreach Manager for the East of Scotland involves the co-ordination and deployment of the Outreach Team, covering Edinburgh, Forth Valley, Perthshire, Tayside and Dundee. My previous position was Launch Consultant and I was operating the business as General Manager during that period. I was brought into this project to launch the business from coffee lounge to late night, food lead venue.
