As a consultant for Aventi, my writing skills are sharpened daily. Not only am I often writing copy for multiple social media outlets including Twitter and LinkedIn, I also collaborate on editorial calendars, help curate content, and, above all, ensure that messaging aligns with the goals and needs of our clients. I have also worked with clients to create and manage specialized content for major international events including Hannover Messe and the World Economic Forum, as well as produce live chats surrounding a variety of topics in the B2B high tech space.

Attain Medspa strives to provide the best aesthetic results and highest level of service in a welcoming, luxurious environment. With a small, tight-knit team of true “girls’ girls”, we help our patients look and feel their best while supporting education surrounding medical-grade skincare, injectables, and total wellness. In my position, it is my job to oversee daily operations of the Charleston location, assist in supervising cash flow and sales, be the first line of defense involving technical issues large and small, ensure proper scheduling, and handle any patient concerns. I also work with our marketing and social media contractors, influencers, and local businesses to ensure seamless messaging across multiple platforms, as well as offer significant advisement on marketing strategy and community outreach. In this position, I have been able to work with multiple local small businesses to coordinate pop-up events for both our in-store Tox Happy Hours and mobile Vitamin B12 events to bring a clear message to the community: beauty is so much deeper than what you see in the mirror. I have personally coordinated events with Innerconnections Healing (our Tox and Tarot event is our most popular!), Take Up Space Fitness, Link x Lou permanent Jewelry, Uncommon James, Swhitey Art + Thrift, and Flaunt Fitness. I started in stand-up as a hobby that quickly grew into a passion, and then a career choice. I began writing comedy as a way to transmute pain into joy. My aim is always to bring people together through laughter, and also to spark important conversations about mental health and addiction, all while breaking down the stigma surrounding those things. I work all around the Charleston area making people laugh (or groan), and have since produced shows at Charleston Sports Pub, Bodega, Striped Pig Distillery, and New Realm Brewing. I have also opened for national touring acts including Davi Crimmins, Dewayne White, and Robin Phoenix. I was featured in both the Charleston Comedy Festival and North Carolina Comedy Festival in 2022, and was named Charleston's Best Local Comedian in 2023.

As a Team Trivia host, I have run over 200 Team Trivia and Soundcheck Music Bingo games as part of my regular schedule and special events. At each game, it is my job to be prepared with necessary sound and tech equipment, as well as ensure players understand and abide by the rules of the game, all while having a great time! In addition to my regular games, I also host special events at private communities on Kiawah Island, act as a host for corporate events, and serve as a trainer for new trivia hosts. Team Trivia is a national franchise, and many players are part of our national trivia league. I have a reputation among the league players for being firm, fair, and fun! Duties as a host also include collecting and depositing payment from venues and distributing prizes to players.

As an actress at The Dinner Detective, I take on whatever role is given to me that night--whether that is Detective, Host, or villain! The Dinner Detective has a loose script and is a largely improvised comedy show with a rotating cast and heavy audience participation, which means that I have the pleasure of working with actors from all backgrounds in addition to having new participants at every show. It is a challenge I certainly enjoy! When working as Host or Co-Host of the show, I am in charge of or assisting with setting the tone of the evening for our audience, as well as handling day-of production, including working directly with varying venues and handling any problems with guests or cast members that may arise. It is a job that certainly requires quick thinking!

Seasonally, I was the full-time manager for Tiki Tours of Charleston--the best party boat in the world (according to our Instagram bio). In this position, I did it all! I was the main salesperson, talking to people from all over the country every day who were ready to "get friki on the Tiki", helping them decide what type of party was best for them, managing booking, and taking payment. I also managed our social media outlets and promotional efforts, including posting on a consistent basis on Instagram and Facebook and reaching out to local media outlets for public events. I also assisted in maintenance of our vessel, acted as a first mate on a consistent basis, and handled staff scheduling.

As a server at California Dreaming, I became a team leader (“Captain”) within two months, leading all other servers in my area of responsibility each shift—no small feat in a restaurant that seats over 500! I was trained to serve in all three dining areas (main dining, bar, patio), and eventually became a trainer myself. I maintained knowledge of rotating wines, beers, cocktails, and an ever-evolving menu.

I started as the high-volume host lead (“Control”) at Carolina Ale House, pacing the seating of the popular 426-seat sports bar and leading the host staff on the highest-volume days and times. In August 2018, I was promoted to Host Manager, which involved enforcing policies and procedures among the host team, as well as scheduling, staffing levels, and collaboration with managers of other departments (service, bar, kitchen, etc.) to ensure impeccable daily operations of the restaurant.

As a coach at TCE, I taught children ages 5-11 basic to intermediate dance, tumbling, and cheerleading skills, as well as helped prepare for competitions and assist with parent and coach relations. I worked in this role for the 2015-2016 season, the 2017-2018 season, and prepped the gym with a new training schedule for the 2018-2019 season.

As a hostess and server at Mellow Mushroom, it was my job to be knowledgeable about customer service, as well as the food and beverage industry as a whole. My duties included assisting in the opening and closing of the store, taking customer orders, running food, and maintaining knowledge of a rotating menu and beer, wine, and cocktail list.

Lars on Mars was a fashion and lifestyle website with a vegan twist. As founder, I was responsible for building my website, managing my social media presence (including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Bloglovin'), creating and editing YouTube videos, and filtering important content from other sources as well as creating my own. Lars on Mars had a major focus on encouraging a cruelty-free lifestyle while still helping our readers look FABULOUS. The website promoted all kinds of brands, and featured products are from mass retailers, major fashion labels, and up-and-coming designers. Lars on Mars received attention from I Still Love You NYC and Chi-Flo clothing.

As a professional teller, I helped customers with completing their financial transactions, acted as the face of the brand, and assisted in referring clients to various financial products.

At BCBG, customer service was a main priority. All of my clients were made to feel welcome in the store, and I ensured that they are able to find the items that they needed. My other major priority was outfitting each client from head to toe, whether that meant putting together an entire outfit for a red carpet event, or helping a client incorporate our pieces into her current wardrobe. For January-September (except April) of 2014, I was the number one sales associate in the store, consistently bringing in over $10,000 in revenue each month. In June of 2014, I was also the winner of our store's suggestive selling contest. In February of 2014, I was promoted to keyholder. My responsibilities as keyholder included opening and closing the store, loss prevention, acting as floor supervisor when needed, and handling money. In October of 2014, I was promoted to Assistant Manager, with my duties expanding to include management of Loss Prevention, Operations, and assisting with Visual Merchandising.

As a bridal consultant, I helped brides find the dress of their dreams in an high-end specialty retail environment. In addition to my position as a consultant, I ran and created content for all social media outlets for both Bella Vista Bridal and its bakery, Lady Antoinette's, including websites, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. I also chaired special projects, such as photo shoots, philanthropy events, etc. After the bankruptcy of the company, I worked with state, local, and collegiate media outlets to manage public relations.

During my time at McAlister's, I took orders, delivered food to customers, and ensured the highest level of customer service to the best of my ability. I was responsible for 1-2 cash drawers each shift and had to reconcile all cash and tips at the end of each shift. In addition, I was often tasked with preparing large catering orders for over 100 people. Towards the end of my time there, I also learned how to fix minor problems in the computer system.

At American Eagle, my main job was to let customers know about promotions and to help them find any merchandise they may have been looking for. In addition, I was responsible for some visual merchandising, as well as opening and closing the store on some occasions. I also helped with floorsets and ran the register.
