Zentraxa’s proprietary technological platform, Zentide, combined with our extensive technical know-how allows us to push the boundaries of what can be achieved with synthetic biopolymers. Ferryx is developing live biotherapeutics to treat inflammatory conditions. Our lead product is FX856, a safe and effective live biotherapeutic for the treatment and prevention of gastrointestinal inflammation.

I work closely with academics to support the development and commercialisation of intellectual property resulting from life sciences research at the University. Main responsibilities include: advising on translational funding applications and contracts; identification and protection of IP with commercial potential; and exploitation of IP through licensing deals, industry partnerships, and creation of spin out companies.

Responsible for identifying new small molecules and peptides, presented in scientific literature and at conferences, as chemical tools for pre-clinical research. The role also involves patent searches and licensing negotiations.

Responsible for producing product descriptions and extended scientific literature for marketing purposes, all to tight publishing deadlines. I worked with academic and industrial researchers to commission scientific reviews and posters, and coordinated the production of these pieces from the original draft to the finished product. My role also involved attending a range of life science and medicinal chemistry conferences to represent the company.
