I have worked in various Customer Service roles my entire career and love solving puzzles, both on paper and in real life. I absolutely LOVE what I do, the incredible people I have the pleasure of working with, and look forward to a very long career with Zelis. I will be celebrating 12 years here this fall.I was recently appointed the Lead for Women of Zelis' Mentorship Program. Having mentored young ladies throughout my career, this is very near and dear to my heart. Being in a leadership role within Zelis has given me great joy, this truly is a Great Place to work!My work with End of the Innocence was my personal passion, having been an advocate for abuse survivors most of my adult life. Our goal was to assist in eradicating sexual violence of all kinds, worldwide, through education. That was a huge undertaking and we were willing to do the work to get it done. Our virtual events brought in audiences around the globe. I am a survivor of child abuse, incest, rape, and domestic violence, but those events have never defined me, instead, they built up the shield of armor that I use to this day. For my personal mental health, I chose to step away 2 years ago, and since that time the group disbanded. I am a published author of three books, and dozens of blogs, most of which can be found on my personal website. My children are the greatest gift to me, and I am so blessed to love them all individually. I haven't always said or done the "right" thing, especially when it comes to my kids, but I have learned so many lessons along the way. I am currently learning how to love myself finally and being content with my own company. Life has handed me many lemons and I have always been able to turn them in to lemonade. My goal is to inspire others, make them think, and allow them to see life from my point of view. Thank you so much for stopping in and taking the time to get to know me a little better.
