Financial freedom for families and individuals is a great passion of mine.Although I have been an accountant for over a decade I had accumulated a large amount of debt. I am a person from humble beginnings and all I knew was to get a degree, get a job, and work hard. But when I finally "made it" I looked around and noticed I was living paycheck to paycheck and I had nothing to show for the long hours of work I had put in over the years. In 2018 I decided to take a stand and get control of my personal finances. I went on my debt free journey and in July of 2020, during the global pandemic, I paid off my last debt. The feeling I got from sending that last payment to my student loans was the most incredible. I felt so light, so relieved. It was one less thing hovering over me. I could finally breathe.This feeling should be something everyone feels in their lifetime. To owe no one anything. To do what you want with the money that you make. So I set out to help others like me to actively find a way to financial security.
