- Responsible for the research and development of woven and knit programs from concept through to bulk delivery- Managed over 150+ fabrics per season as well as the development of prints, yarn dyes, fabric finishes and wash development- Supported the Creative teams by offering both technical knowledge as well as a continuous flow of material trends and insights- Delivered on Aritzia's test and react model ensuring that any top-performing styles were able to be re-ordered for the quickest turnaround time- Traveled to key suppliers in Japan, China, Korea, and Portugal to build and strengthen relationships with suppliers

- Researched and developed fabrics for the Men's, Boy's and Kids and Baby divisions- Managed all aspects of sourcing and counter sourcing to achieve the desired aesthetic at a target price point- Worked closely with mill and vendor counterparts on fabric approvals and negotiations- Created and presented trend boards highlighting fabric, print and colour direction- Set quality standards and fabric alignment across all divisions seasonally

- Worked closely with Design and Merchant teams to develop a market-specific collection for GAP Japan- Ordered, reviewed and approved labdips, handlooms, strike-offs, and sample yardage- Communicated with overseas vendors and business partners regarding fabric approvals and quality standards- Acted as a liaison between the New York based Design team and the Production team based in Japan

- Researched antique and contemporary fabric, rug and woven arts- Maintained the yarn and colour library- Created, oversaw and tracked purchase orders- Implemented processes and procedures for development

- Assisted in the gathering of production materials including locations, casting, and research in line with the production budget for the execution of Lipman's campaigns- Established and maintained timelines, coordinated meetings and acted as a liaison between the Agency and external vendors
