By: * Creating a storage area for excess inventory, I ensured a lean and efficient picking area without excess inventory. * Creating a functionality to ensure that products are placed in the correct position upon receipt, reducing the need for reprocessing during picking. * Defining a slotting model that strategically categorizes products based on their sales level and compatibility, minimizing the need for unnecessary movement within the warehouse. * Creating the replenishment model to ensure that the picking area is always stocked with what is needed and to ensure that the pickers always have the product available at the time the product is picked.These efforts resulted in an average productivity improvement of at least 35% in the warehouses where the solution was already implemented.
