Solving a problem previously not addressed in the Queen City, I partnered with my co-founder to pioneer Charlotte’s only local, healthy, organic, vegan prepared food delivery service. The digital marketing plan I launched went viral in a matter of weeks, and within 3 years we grew revenues to $500K and increased our customer base from just 30 to 1000s.I am proud of the high-morale culture we cultivated, rich in educated, product advocacy amongst team members. By September, 2014, our staff grew from 3 to 20+ and serviced customers from Lake Norman to Lake Wiley, NC. I remained a consultant and advisor to the business as they grew, and in 2020, Nourish expanded not only to New York City but also opened their first brick and mortar location, "Plant Joy", in Charlotte, NC, to rave reviews.HIGHLIGHTS:Established and negotiated partnerships with local businesses including NC/SC farmers, product suppliers, marketers and advertisers. I formed a consulting company where I spearheaded strategic communications and tactical training for diverse companies. Bank of America remained primary client throughout. PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: Developed and executed strategic communications plan, tactical roadmap, training and orientation that supported rapid hiring of 100+ recruiters key to en-masse staffing effort. Concepted Huddle to drastically increase communications effectiveness between time-crunched supervisors and front-line associates; embraced as tool get messages across and get employee buy-in. Co-designed and co-led trailblazing use of satellite broadcast technology to train Corporate Communicators and 5K front line leaders on Huddle template, resulting in immediate tool adoption

As the two-year cap to an 8+ year career at Bank of America, I am proud of the role I played in elevating the perception of our group’s communications team from last-minute content deliverers to trusted strategic partners, and where we developed and delivered full-spectrum solutions from strategic plans to tactical content.By breaking down barriers between Communications, Training and Process Improvement teams, we facilitated the delivery of seamless solutions to Line of Business (LOB) partners. In this role, I engaged executives as key stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical communication support to executive leadership, LOBs and cross-functional project teams.HIGHLIGHTS:Led matrixed team that developed “Associate Satisfaction Index,” – a tool that identified key drivers of employee morale, success and satisfaction factors.Harnessed power of the grapevine; identified and engaged group influencers as message disseminators.
