CurrentServes as the principal professional resource to the BOD and the board committees, assisting them in matters of policy formulation and interpretation. Communicates regularly and openly with the board. Creates a culture of partnership between board and staff based on genuine trust, respect for each other’s contributions of time, talent, resources and commitment to social justice, equality, diversity, and inclusion. Implements the policies established by the board of directors. Participates in board meetings. Manages the operation of Keystone Progress, including staff, volunteers, programs, and office.Charged with hiring, evaluating, administering employee’s benefits, and handling other personnel matters. Develops, establishes, and utilizes organizational performance measurement standards; reports results to board and staff; and makes necessary changes based upon results, needs.Provides oversight for the financial affairs of Keystone Progress.Ensures financial policies and procedures are followed.Working with the organization’s treasurer, ensures financial policies and procedures are followed. Serves as primary support to the finance committee. Ensures ongoing financial growth of the organization.Leads the development and implementation of the strategic plans into tactical actions/activities. Oversees development and implementation of fundraising plans to secure adequate funding, including preparing and supervising foundation grants, movement funding sources, other proposals that would further the goals and mission of KP/KPEF. Working closely with the board, develops and implements a solid on-going grass roots fundraising program. Represents the organization to the wider community and fosters a good relationship with stakeholders, including close allies in elected offices, coalition partners, funders, and the public.
