For all events on the day of, I transition into the only necessary point person for all questions from vendors, staffers, and other key players. I believe in getting everyone on the same page from the start of the day so that we all have the same goals in mind in terms of presentation, event deliverables, and follow-up; so we all run as a team because we are all in it together. Work with adults formerly incarcerated at the Cook County Department of Corrections approved for probation through the Mental Health Court that affords them a 2-year probation with mental health services in partnership with community service providers. Ensure that case management and 1-on-1 counseling is a collaborative process that takes into account client needs and attempt to break the cycle of untreated mental health, addiction and criminal behavior.

Summer 2014 internship under the guidance of long-term CADC workers. With flexibility and autonomy, I led the intensive outpatient group (IOP) on an almost daily basis with discussions that focus on client strengths. In addition, met one-on-one with clients with a focus on trauma history including sexual, physical and emotional abuse to face history with a renewed resolve, acceptance and healthy coping mechanisms instead of denial or relapse.

I assisted in the operations of a $4.5 billion pension fund (figure as of FYE 2006) with participants, employers, and local unions of the UFCW National Pension Fund across the country. I gained greater extensive experience in interpreting Plan language and implementation of changes due to federal law changes including PPA 2006. I also had frequent interaction with internal company executives as well as external Fund Advisors such as Medical Consultants and Co-Counsel.
