Laura Osburn is a Conservation Policy Analyst at SCL | Researcher | Qualitative Methods | Writing | Project Management at Seattle City Light. Most recently, she was the leading researcher in a Prevention through Design (PtD) study funded by WA State L&I, for which I was the PI. The PtD study was a 1.5-year-long project involving a ton of interviews, meetings, and case studies. Laura was always on top of research activities and schedule, and never ceased to amaze me with her outstanding interdisciplinary research background and experience. In addition, she consistently displayed an originality of thought and a high level of professionalism, and exceptional qualitative research capacity, all of which are evident in her research products. Her commitment to doing the best work and dedication to project success while under time pressure demonstrated the strong work ethic she possesses.
